About Tesha

Tesha Baker, APRN-BC is the founder/CEO of Lavish Grace Wellness Med Spa in Sebring, Florida. It is based on the scripture 2 Peter 1:2 “May Grace and Peace be Lavished on you as you grow in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord”.

In 2011, I received my Master’s Degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Board Certified (APRN-BC) and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Florida, and a member of the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). I am native to Highlands County Florida and have been blessed to serve my community with over 24 years of professional nursing. I started my nursing career at a young age as a hospital volunteer while attending middle school. As time passed on through my high school years and on into college, my interest in the medical field was still on my heart. 

My experience started as a Home Health Aide (HHA), and on to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Progressing on to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) graduating from South Florida State College (SFSC) in 1998. In 2001 I received my Registered Nursing (RN) degree from SFSC.  I was employed at a local hospital as a Critical Care Nurse for over 12 years.  Moving on into my specialty as an APRN, Family Practice Medicine in Avon Park, Florida for almost 10 years.  My tenure covered Annual Wellness Exams, Health Maintenance, Well Women Exams and treating multiple co-morbidities.  In 2018, my love for Medical Aesthetics led me to “moon-lighting”, starting my own business with neuromodulators (aka Botox) and dermal fillers.  I have received advanced training in neuromodulators, dermal filler, IV therapy, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy-BHRT (Pellet Therapy), body contouring, weight loss and skin rejuvenation. 

Staying healthy and making healthy choices is very important to me.  I believe lifestyle changes are always better choices in life and can lead to opportunities to where prescription medications are not the only option.  As God has given me my “gift” in the medical field, I do respect the gifts that God has given to all our doctors and nurses and medical staff, who sacrifice everyday to heal and save lives. 

Taking a “whole” approach to the Mind, Body, and Spirit is the body’s ability to heal itself.  Our wellness comes not just from physical health, but from mental health and spiritual health as well. 

My philosophy since the beginning of my career in nursing is to treat every patient/client as if they were my family. God is my ROCK and my FOUNDATION in whom I trust and take refuge.  My prayer for you is you will be touched by God’s “Lavish Grace”.

I live in Sebring, Florida and I am a native to Avon Park, Florida. I love the ocean and the beach soothes my SOUL. God’s love is like the ocean, you can see it’s beginning, BUT it has no end! I have been married to Jimmy Baker for over 20 years. We have four beautiful children together.  I love living well, eating healthy and working out. I love giving back to the community and praising God every step of the way on this Journey called LIFE!”
